One map instead of four systems

A team apparel company

A team apparel company had its territory and prospect data spread across four systems. The sales team was deciding where to spend its week by flipping between them, and nobody could see on one screen where the prospects were relative to the clubs already buying and the territory lines drawn around both.

What we built

A lot of the prospect list lives in government purchasing records, so we wrote a connector that pulls that data into their Redshift warehouse every night. From there, dbt models join it to the clubs and the territory assignments, and a county-level map puts all three in one place.

What changed

It put 18,700 prospects on one map, and it runs for a few dollars a month with no per-seat license.
